I am new at blogging. In fact I just typed my first entry and somehow it got lost?!? So this is actually my second entry. I am not new at writing; I have kept a journal or “Log” all my life. The big challenge for me is going to be the technology.
I decided to start blogging because I am entering a new season of my life and I thought it would be fun to share this journey with my friends and family. My husband and I will be celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary this year. There are many changes going on in our life and we are embarking on a totally new adventure or as I like to say Journey.
Many may be wondering why my business flies under the banner of Christian Pirates. It is worth an explanation to my readers. I have always considered my self a “pirate” since I was a little girl. In my eyes pirates always did things differently than everyone else. Most times they got good results, but they just didn’t do it like everyone else. I think by going about things in your own way is a path to discovering who you really are and what you were created to be.
I know that for many the word pirate is negative. And rightly so. I have done a lot of research on pirates and I have discovered that there are good and bad qualities to pirates. You have to take the time to look at each pirate individually. Like my mother used to say, “There is good and bad in everything” so we need to learn to have a little discernment. So bear with me as we go on this adventurous journey. I challenge you to discover who you are and what you were created to be! And enjoy the journey for it is the destination.
